Your Night With SPI

What To Expect

A structured, welcoming and hands-on paranormal investigation where the SPI team explains the equipment, supports guests and encourages a thoughtful approach to anything unusual.

First Time? You're Welcome

No previous experience needed

The SPI team will explain how the evening works, demonstrate the equipment and support you throughout the investigation. You can attend on your own or with others, and you never have to pretend to believe anything.

Every location is different, so investigation areas, group arrangements, session lengths and activities may vary. Check the Event Detail page for venue-specific information.

A Real Investigation

Hands-on, honest and questioning

TAKE PART

Guests use equipment and participate in investigation sessions rather than watching from the sidelines.

NO STAGED SCARES

SPI is not a theatrical haunted attraction. We do not use actors, hidden effects or knowingly manufactured evidence.

QUESTION WHAT HAPPENS

We consider environmental, technical and human explanations alongside anything unusual.

NO GUARANTEES

Paranormal activity cannot be guaranteed. Quiet sessions are a normal part of paranormal investigation.

Equipment

Equipment and methods vary by event

What To Bring

Dress for a historic venue after dark

Bring a reliable torch, sensible footwear and warm clothing. You may bring food and non-alcoholic drinks where the venue permits; your own investigation equipment is optional.

Comfort & Facilities

Expect venue-specific arrangements

Breaks take place and many venues have a base or break area. SPI generally provides tea and coffee. Toilets, access, temperature and surfaces vary, so the Event Detail page is authoritative.
